The 79th Independence Day of our country was celebrated by the members of the NCCA at Jay Rajguru Bhabana at 8.00 AM on 15th August 2025. This year saw one of the most joyous and vibrant Independence Day celebrations seen in recent years. The unprecedented rise in attendance, participation and contribution of so many members spoke of the spirit of rising spirit of volunteerism.
It was attended by S C Bhadra, Debasis Patnaik, Ashok Kumar Mohanty, Ashok Mallick, Banibrata Tripathy, Biranchi Narayan Das, Bisnu Charan swain, Sukumar Dash, J P Jagdev, Sudhansu Kumar Parija, Sarat Patnaik, Sarat Panda, Raj Kumar Mohapatra, Pradipta Kumar Swain, Nanda Kishore Behera, P. K. Various other activities were conducted on the same day.
The President of the association, Sri Sarat Chandra Bhadra hoisted the flag, and the national anthem was sung in chorus. Addressing the members present, he spoke about Jayi Rajguru and his sacrifices and reminded the audience about every citizen’s responsibility to give something back to the community and his country.

On the same day, the official website of the NCCA (www.ncca.co.in) was launched by the President. Introducing the website JP Jagdev, EC member who was behind the design and development of the website showed its various features and explained how this website is going to help the association in community engagement, community mobilization and establish a transparent governance structure and invite participation.
The president and the members present profusely thanked him for his effort and contribution.

The occasion was marked by a rooftop plantation program where the members took turns in planting and watering the plants for the rooftop garden.

Light snacks and refreshments were served to all the members before adjourning the meeting.
NCCA is a Resident Welfare Association (RWA) covering N1,N2,N3 & N4 area of IRC village, Bhubaneswar. It is established to promote welfare and interest of residence.
